What is Sous Vide?
Sous vide is the process of sealing food in an airtight sealed bag and then cooking that food in a temperature-controlled bath. In French, the sous vide translates to "under vacuum," which makes sense since we take our fresh FarmLife Blends, seal it in an airtight bag and place it in a large bath of temperature controlled water. There’s no contact with a heated metal surface, flames, steam or smoke, just bathing in 165 degree water for 2 hours to ensure all of the nutrients in the blends aren’t cooked away.
