A Few Things
to Know Before You Order
Frozen Products Shipped
Separately
Frozen and Non-Frozen products
must ship separately. If your
order contains both frozen and
non frozen items, separate
orders should be created for
each item type in order to
obtain accurate shipping costs.
Any order received with mixed
product types on a single order
may require a shipping cost
adjustment.
UPS Ground Shipping Schedule
The following schedule shows the
number of business days your
shipment will take to reach you
using UPS Ground Service.
Shipments of Frozen Raw Meat
products must arrive within 48
hours of shipment. If your home
resides outside of the Gold /
Tan areas you must select either
2 Day or Next Day Service.
Special Container and Supplies
are Required
We use special 1 ½” thick wall
foam shipping containers for our
frozen meat shipments. The
containers are available in 3
convenient sizes:
Small: Holds up to
10 lbs of frozen raw meat
Medium: Holds up to 20
lbs of frozen raw meat
Large Holds up to
40 lbs. of frozen raw meat
In addition 5 lbs. of dry ice is
required to keep the meat at
optimum “sub zero” temperature.
Each of our meat customers must
initially purchase the required
foam container but may
optionally return the container
to Pet Orlando for re-use in
their next shipment thereby
eliminating the need to
repurchase a container on each
shipment. The dry ice
expense must be added to each
order.
Once a Week Shipment
Due to the complexity and “Time
Sensitive” nature of frozen meat
shipments we only ship frozen
meats once per week. Our normal
shipping day is Tuesday with the
exception of certain weeks where
a holiday might present a
conflict. Therefore it is
important that you gauge your
needs carefully by projecting
your pets daily consumption and
order accordingly.
